Front Steps & Paver Walkway in West Hartford, CT
At a West Hartford Tudor, worn brick front steps and a cracked concrete walk were replaced with stone steps and a new paver walkway.
The project
What we built
The brick steps had loose, broken treads and the concrete walk to the street had cracked and heaved. Both were removed.
The new steps have stone treads with stone veneer risers, a better match for the stucco and dark trim of the house. A paver walkway with a dark border now runs from the sidewalk to the steps.
The result is safer underfoot and suits the character of the home instead of fighting it.
