Paver Front Walkway with Contrasting Border in West Hartford, CT
A cracked concrete front walk at a brick colonial, replaced with a paver walkway and a red-tone border that picks up the color of the house.
The project
What we built
The old walk was cracked down its length and had weeds growing through the joints. We removed it and built a new walkway on a compacted base.
The field is a light, multi-size paver, and the soldier-course border is a red tone that complements the brick of the house.
It is a simple project, but it changes the first impression of the home from the street.
