Curved Front Walkway & Entry Steps in Simsbury, CT
At a Simsbury Cape, a worn, uneven front walk was replaced with a curved stone walkway and new side-entry steps and landing.
The project
What we built
The old walkway was a narrow concrete-paver path with uneven joints, and the side entry had a worn walk and steps.
We laid out a new walkway that curves from the driveway around a planting bed to the front door, edged with a cobblestone-style border. At the side door, new steps and a stone landing replaced the old entry.
Fresh planting beds on both sides of the walk finish the front of the house.
