Lit Stone Retaining Wall Along a Driveway in Southington, CT
A retaining wall along a Southington driveway, faced in natural stone veneer, finished with a stone cap and lit from under the cap.
The project
What we built
The wall holds back a raised planting bed along the edge of the driveway. It is faced in natural stone veneer and topped with a continuous stone cap.
Low-voltage lights are tucked under the cap, so at night the wall washes the driveway in soft light without any visible fixtures.
It shows how a working wall can also be one of the best-looking features of a property, day or night.
