Front Steps Rebuild in Wallingford, CT
Crumbling concrete front steps, torn out and rebuilt from a new footing up, finished with stone veneer risers and stone treads.
The project
What we built
The original steps were breaking apart at the top and pulling away from the house. We removed them completely.
We poured a new concrete footing, built the step structure in block, then finished the faces in stone veneer with stone treads on top. The photos below show each stage.
The finished steps are solid masonry from the footing up, with a stone look that suits the house.
