Pool Patio with Fire Pit & Walkway in Wallingford, CT
A large paver pool patio with a round fire pit set into a circle, a curved border sweeping through the field, steps up from the yard and a walkway to the pool gate.
The project
What we built
Before we started, the area beside the in-ground pool was bare dirt. We built a paver patio along the pool fence, with a fire pit circle at the far end so the family can move from the pool to the fire without leaving the patio.
A curved charcoal border runs through the patio and wraps the fire pit circle, breaking up a large area and giving the space a clear layout.
Paver steps bring you up from the lawn, and a bordered walkway curves through the side yard to the pool gate.
